To obtain a BSCE, it is necessary to satisfy requirements of the University, the College and the Department. The summary of course titles and credits listed below satisfy the requirements for general education, mathematics and science, and engineering fundamentals.

Students with no prior study of chemistry in high school or college may have to take a 3-semester chemistry sequence of CHM 2021, CHM 2045 and CHM 2046. This will complete the general chemistry requirement over a longer period of time and at a less hectic pace. No credit will be given for CHM 2021.
