Graduate AdmissionsThank you for your interest in our graduate program. We no longer mail paper application forms. Please visit admissions.grad.usf.edu to download and obtain the domestic student application form or web.usf.edu/iac/admissions/forms.html to download and obtain the international student application form.SPECIAL NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT SEND APPLICATION MATERIALS TO THE CIVIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. A complete application package includes the completed application form, sealed original transcripts and letters of recommendation, copies of GRE and TOEFL scores, application fee, statement of purpose and detailed resume or curriculum vita, and copies of any abstracts or papers that you have written or published. There is no special application form for financial assistance. You are automatically considered for all possible forms of financial assistance. Preferred Qualifications are as follows: 1) Civil and Environmental Engineering Programs 2) Environmental Engineering Programs All Masters Programs Overall GPA = 2.75 GPA in major = 3.00 GRE Verbal + Quantitative = 1050 GRE Analytical (old) + Quantitative = 1150 GRE Quantitative Score = 650 GRE Analytical Score (old) = 500 GRE Analytical Score (new) = 3 TOEFL (international applicants only) = 550 or 213 (CBT) All Ph.D. Programs Overall GPA = 3.00 GPA in major = 3.30 GRE Verbal + Quantitative = 1150 GRE Analytical (old) + Quantitative = 1250 GRE Quantitative Score = 700 GRE Analytical Score (old) = 550 GRE Analytical Score (new) = 4 TOEFL (international applicants only) = 550 or 213 (CBT) Please note that meeting these qualifications does not guarantee admission or financial assistance. Availability of departmental resources varies greatly from one year to the next and is an important consideration in all graduate admission decisions. Summer Admission is not granted unless specifically sponsored and requested by a professor. |
